Strong Send and Smaily, Mailchimp, Brevo, MailerLite: a comparison

Newsletters and mail on our own servers: an email editor, double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe, mailboxes included. We do not have segments or automation chains yet — they are planned — and we have no free plan either.

The trial has 500 contacts and test emails; campaigns come with a paid plan after domain verification.

Choose Strong if

  • you want newsletters and business mail from one supplier, on EU servers
  • you value an Estonian and Russian interface and support, and one sign-in with the other Strong products

Better look at the alternatives if

  • you need segments, automation chains and A/B tests today — Mailchimp, Brevo and (partly) Smaily have them
  • you need a free start: Smaily gives up to 2,000 active contacts free, we have no free plan
How we differ

Not one feature, but the whole set.

  • One Strong ID account

One sign-in and one organisation for every Strong product: people and roles are not set up again in each program.

  • ID card

Sign in with an ID card (Web eID) through Strong ID; in Steps, sign the acknowledgement with an ID card.

  • Data in the EU

The Strong cloud runs on EU servers; you can install the software on your own server and the licence works offline.

  • Estonian, Russian, English

Interface and support in three languages, not only English.

  • Prices in euros

Prices in euros, not converted from dollars; VAT is not included.
